Adventures in France

Updated: Aug 5, 2021

A mini-series announcement :)

Hello Explorers!

Cheers to exploring the word, when we can in the future.

I thought I would share some fun stories, experiences, food, and emotions (yup, emotions) from the various sites I've visited in France. The hope is that you, my lovely reader, will not only perhaps related or dream of vacationing again, but that you will be inspired to travel beyond the U.S.

I will be sharing the Catacombs of Paris, located just off Rue de la Tombe-Issoire, just a few blocks from our Airbnb.

The palace of Versaille, which I have visited in my lifetime, was even more beautiful than I remembered. I believe this to be in large part because I had the opportunity to visit many other elements of the property, like Marie Antoinette's estate.

We visited lots of sites in Normandy and this was very important to me for a couple of reasons. First, as a U.S. Navy Veteran, I have very large respect for those who have served before me. Second, I have watched and learned a bit regarding WWII and being able to see these sites was, well incredible beyond words.

That day was my favorite of the entire trip followed super closely by the evening experience we had watching the Ave Maria concert within Notre Damn. Yes, that was simply breath-taking.

There were several ways in which we decided to stroll through Paris and happened upon some interesting sites and food. Disclaimer, there will be the content of a mature nature conveyed as a bread item. It might just give you a good giggle.

There were other days when we planned outings to various museums such as the impressive Louvre, and the Muse D'orse. Both of these sites display some truly heart-warming, stunning, and incredible pieces beyond painted or sculpted works.

What I will release first will be a video of our Airbnb because it was truly beautiful and it was the first time I had ever stayed in one. It was so lovely and I would absolutely stay there again if I could!

Disclaimer regarding video quality. Please try not to laugh too much at the poor quality the footage is in. I plan on modifying the video feed and pictures I can to a more updated pixel ratio but sadly I did not maintain all video feed so there will be content with picture-in-picture video for much of it. Plus it is kind of fun to actually see people as they remember trips and such.

Though I cannot wait to share these, the planned start for releasing this content will be Sunday, January 3rd. Keep your eyes open for updates and notifications from YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook for the blog posts and release date. If you would like to receive email newsletters, about a 2-3 minute read, with fun tidbits, tips, promos (for future ideas), a mini-memories, and trivia bits, pop over tidbits to HERE and sign up. This newsletter will also release on January 3rd!
